Jun Kit Chong

Jun Kit Chong is a professional with extensive experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and automation within various industries. Currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Sony Electronics since October 2025, Jun previously held roles including Manager of Artificial Intelligence at UTAC and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CMA CGM, where responsibilities included developing advanced machine learning algorithms. At Genting Plantations, Jun designed a cloud-based automated system for plantation management, leveraging drone imaging and computer vision technologies. Jun began career progression as a Senior Design Engineer (AI) at Sony Electronics, focusing on automation solutions in TV manufacturing, and also gained experience as an Investment Intern at Gobi Partners. Educational qualifications include a Nanodegree in Deep Reinforcement Learning from Udacity and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.
