Leonard Yap possesses extensive experience in business leadership within the medical and consumer electronics sectors, currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Head of the Medical Solutions Department at Sony Electronics since June 2009. In this role, Leonard oversees the medical business for the Asia Pacific region, driving product marketing and managing a four-member team. Previous positions include leadership roles at Creative Labs, where Leonard managed regional sales and marketing efforts for the Indian Subcontinent, and at Panasonic Singapore, handling marketing for audio products. Leonard holds an Honors Degree in Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and has built a strong foundation in strategic marketing, product management, and team leadership throughout a career spanning over two decades.
