Mark Pearson

Mark Pearson has extensive experience in corporate procurement, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Procurement at Sony Electronics since 1993. In this role, Mark oversees strategic sourcing for indirect procurement activities with an average annual spend of $800 million, achieving savings exceeding $14 million. Historically, Mark held various managerial positions, including Senior Manager of Procurement and Corporate Solutions, where a managed spend of over $600 million was achieved alongside substantial savings. Mark has played a pivotal role in developing corporate strategies for plants across the Americas, implementing e-procurement solutions, and ensuring supplier compliance with corporate guidelines. Additionally, Mark served on the Board for the Council for Supplier Diversity as Treasurer from January 2017 to December 2020 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Arizona University.
