John Blake

John Blake is the Director of Legal & Public Policy at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where responsibilities include leading the legal team for PlayStation's global Peripheral Product Development and serving on various policy committees. Previously, John held positions such as Senior Corporate Counsel at Sony, Vice President of IP Strategy at Rovi Corporation, and Senior Director of IP Strategy at Morrison & Foerster LLP. John’s early career includes roles as an Associate at McDermott Will and Emery, a Software Consultant and Developer, and a Software Engineer at NetX, as well as serving as a Coordinator for International Relations for Nagano City during the 1998 Winter Olympics. John Blake earned a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA in East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University.
