Rae Yip has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. They started their career at Caltech in 1994 as a Computer Systems Manager. Later, they worked at Cisco Systems as a Sr. Sysadmin for a period of seven years. After that, they joined Telus Communications as a Systems Integrator from 2005 to 2007. Following their time at Telus Communications, they worked at Caltech as a Seismic Network Administrator until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Rae Yip worked at Gaikai as a Senior Service Reliability Engineer. Currently, they are serving as a Staff Service Reliability Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, a position they have held since 2017.
Rae Yip attended Caltech from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Mathematics.
