Godwin Tom

Godwin Tom is an experienced professional in the music and entertainment industry, currently serving as Managing Director at Sony Music Publishing since June 2022. Godwin founded the Music Business Academy For Africa in August 2020 and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at iManage Africa from January 2017 to August 2022, a talent management and events company. Godwin also operated The Godwin Tom Company as Principal Consultant from January 2011 to August 2020, which serves as the parent company for iManage Africa. Additional experience includes serving as Director at Bag Of Ideas Limited from July 2008 to August 2020 and as Head of A&R and Special Projects at Spinlet for a brief period in 2015, where strategic interactions with artists were a focus. Godwin's early career included a role as Head of Operations at Flytime Promotions Limited in early 2012. Educational background includes attendance at Lagos State University.
