James Armstrong has extensive experience in creative marketing and brand partnerships within the music industry, currently serving as Vice President of Creative Marketing - Advertising at Sony Music Publishing since October 2012. Prior to this role, James was Senior Manager of Music Resources at EMI Music Publishing, where responsibilities included strategic marketing and creative sync licensing. A brief stint in digital marketing and PR for Santos Party House involved promoting Andrew WK's nightclub. James began a career in product management at No Idea Records & Distribution, focusing on releases. James holds a BA in Political Science and Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida, obtained in 2007.
