Celeste Tesoriero

Celeste Tesoriero is an accomplished professional in the fashion industry, currently serving as a Business Sustainability & Innovation Lecturer at The Fashion Institute since June 2022. As the Program Director for AIME's Circular fashion initiative, Tesoriero addresses waste in fashion while supporting social equity. Tesoriero founded Sonzai Studios, focusing on empowering brands toward sustainable practices and has worked with notable clients such as Adobe and Jac & Jack. Prior roles include Head of Sustainability at RIISE, Sustainability Manager at Roland Mouret, and womenswear designer for brands like Shakuhachi and OneTeaspoon. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Sustainability Studies from the University of Tasmania, a Certificate IV in Permaculture, and various certifications in business. Tesoriero has received nominations for several international design awards and has a strong commitment to sustainable and ethical fashion.
