Unmesh Sheth

Unmesh Sheth has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Unmesh began their career in 1993 as a Senior Software Engineer at Action Technologies. In 1995, they joined TIBCO Software Inc. as a Senior Software Architect, where they played a critical role in growing the organization from a start-up to a public company. In 2006, they joined Symantec as a Sr. Manager of Integration Services and SOA Competence Center, where they set direction for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). That same year, they also became President of Indians For Collective Action and an Executive Board Member. In 2008, they began working at Blue Shield of California as Director of Development Ecommerce Channel Advance, where they were responsible for developing and delivering new channels based on a new e-commerce channels (web, EDI and VRU). In 2012, they co-founded Ektta, a non-profit focused on building awareness, sharing best practices and benchmarking with a focused sector approach. Finally, in 2015, they founded and became President of SoPact, a technology-based social enterprise committed to helping organizations measure their impact by directly involving stakeholders.

Unmesh Sheth attended L.D. College of Engineering from 1981 to 1986, where they earned a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Unmesh then attended Michigan Technological University from 1986 to 1988 and received an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. In 2012, they attended Stanford University for Technology Entrepreneurship.
