SOPAT GmbH was founded 2012 with the sole purpose of empowering process engineers and scientists to effectively measure and characterize particles within their running processes and systems. Extensive research on this topic was done since 2005 at the Institute of Chemical Engineering at the Technical Institute Berlin and other cooperating facilities that lead to the technological breakthrough that is now the growing backbone of the company. 
The companies expertise spans from process engineering across process control and automation down to innovative software to size and characterize any kind of particle from 1µm and above.
