Miling Wang

Miling Wang is a Bioinformatics Specialist at SOPHiA GENETICS since April 2019, responsible for managing the Customer-Facing Bioinformatics team. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientific Writer at the University of Miami, where project conception and manuscript preparation were key responsibilities. Miling also served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Miami from 2014 to 2018 and held the position of Project Manager in the Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Research Analyst with the Public Health Agency of Canada, focusing on child health initiatives. Miling holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami, an MS in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, and a BS in Biology from Queen's University.
