Founded in 2015, Sophinvest began as a private holding company focused on acquiring and repositioning distressed residential and commercial real estate exclusively for its own account. Our foundational strategy was to identify underperforming assets and unlock their embedded value through intensive, hands-on management.

Building on a decade of success, Sophinvest has strategically evolved its focus. As the market for direct distressed real estate became increasingly competitive—making it difficult to find quality deals that fit our disciplined acquisition criteria—we identified a more scalable path to creating value: working directly with financial institutions to acquire non-performing loans (NPLs) secured by commercial real estate.

We decided to share this specialized strategy with select accredited investors. Unlike a traditional blind pool fund, we structure our offerings on a deal-by-deal basis. This model provides our partners with full transparency, allowing them to evaluate the specific merits of each asset before investing alongside us. We leverage deep expertise in due diligence, deal structuring, and B2B relationship management to create value for both our firm and our co-investment partners, while providing liquidity solutions for lenders.
