Cathy Cramer

Cathy Cramer is a seasoned professional in the fields of cybersecurity and architecture, currently serving as a Senior Threat Researcher at Sophos since November 2020, and previously held a position as Detection Engineer at Red Canary. Cramer's earlier roles include Detection Engineer at Carbon Black, Inc., and Associate SOC Analyst. Additionally, Cramer managed a successful consulting and web development business for nearly 18 years, providing secure web application design and development. Cramer's architectural experience includes managing architectural businesses and contributing to significant projects, such as the listing of the 1889 Bed and Breakfast Inn on the National Register of Historic Places. Cramer holds degrees in Computer Science from Regis University and Architecture from Texas Tech University, as well as completing a Core Technical Program in Cybersecurity at SecureSet Academy.
