Daniel Cave has a diverse work experience in the field of database administration and system design engineering. Daniel started their career with Hewlett-Packard (formerly EDS) in 2005 as a Production DBA, where they worked in various teams and performed different functions. In 2011, they transitioned to Sophos and gradually grew their role and team as a Database Administrator - Workstream Lead, managing a team of two DBAs. Daniel then took on roles such as Database Administrator Team Lead, Platform Manager, and Senior Infrastructure Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Principal System Design Engineer at Sophos. Throughout their career, Daniel has gained valuable knowledge and skills in their field.

Daniel Cave attended the University of Plymouth from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Business Information Management Studies with a focus on Information Technology and Business. Daniel also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012, all in 2013.
