Daniel Souter

Daniel Souter is an experienced cyber security professional currently serving as the Incident Response Lead for Managed Detection and Response at Sophos since November 2021. Previously, Souter held multiple roles at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Government of South Australia, including Acting Manager of Threat Intelligence and Reporting and Senior Cyber Analyst Incident Response, from August 2021 to November 2021. Souter's experience also encompasses a leadership position as Team Leader ICT at Adelaide Hills Council and various technical roles in prior employment, including network engineering at Comwire IT Pty Ltd and IT engineering at Pride Business Solutions. Souter's educational background includes an Advanced Diploma in Network Security from TAFE SA, completed in 2008.
