Dave Mareels is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Sophos since April 2022, previously held roles as Senior Director and Director of Product Management within the same company. Dave co-founded SOC.OS in June 2020, leading it as CEO until its acquisition by Sophos, and has a strong background in transforming security monitoring as a Venture Lead at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. Earlier roles include co-founding Chiron Tutors, where a custom tutoring management software was developed, and providing private tutoring across various subjects for over a decade. Dave completed a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and has a Bachelor's in the same field from the same institution.
