Don Smith

Don Smith is currently the Vice President of Threat Research at Sophos, a role they have held since 2025. Previously, Don served as a CTO and Technical Director at dns ltd from 2005 to 2009, and held several key positions at SecureWorks, including VP Engineering & Technology EMEA and Technology Director. Don also worked at STMicroelectronics as a Security Architect and was an IT Manager at VLSI Vision Limited from 1993 to 1998. They have extensive experience in technology leadership, cybersecurity, and threat research.
