Fiona Ho

Fiona Ho, CPHR, has extensive experience in human resources, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in various roles and industries.

From 2019 onwards, they have been the VP of Human Resources at Sophos, a leading cybersecurity provider. In this role, Fiona is responsible for implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions, such as Managed Detection and Response services. Fiona plays a crucial role in defending organizations and users from cyberattacks.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, Fiona worked as a Sr. HR Manager at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a renowned visual effects company. Fiona contributed to ILM's success by breaking new ground in visual effects and exploring emerging technologies like virtual reality and augmented reality.

Between 2011 and 2016, Fiona gained valuable experience at Fortinet, a worldwide provider of network security appliances. Fiona began as a Human Resources Coordinator and progressed to become a Human Resources Manager. In this role, Fiona provided leadership, coaching, and support to various business partner groups, addressing legal compliance, workforce planning, hiring decisions, and performance management. Fiona also gained international HR experience, managing employee relations in various countries.

Fiona started their professional career as an Office Assistant at Next Level Games Inc in 2009 and served as the UBC Post-Secondary Student Representative at CPHR BC & Yukon during the same year.

In 2005, Fiona worked as an Administrative Assistant (Part-time) at Medisys Corporate Health L.P.
