Peter Akpan

Peter Akpan is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network security and management. Currently serving as the Manager of the Network Security Group at Sophos since September 2021, Peter previously held the IT Manager position at S. Dilawri Automotive Group Inc. from January 2018 to September 2021, focusing on business systems analysis and IT governance. Prior roles include IT Manager at PZ Cussons, where responsibilities involved enhancing IT infrastructure and ensuring data integrity, and earlier positions as System Administrator and Graduate Trainee in various capacities. Peter's career began with IT support roles at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Ecobank Nigeria. Peter holds a Master of Science in Network Communications from Loughborough University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Covenant University.
