Scott Meyer is a Senior Cloud FinOps leader with 15 years of experience in cloud cost optimization. Currently serving as the FinOps Director at Sophos, Scott started this role in 2025. Prior to this, Scott held various positions including Staff FinOps Analyst at Spotify, where significant savings were achieved through a cost optimization strategy for the largest GCP implementation globally. Scott also contributed to financial estimations and cloud migrations at Allstate, and led initiatives yielding over $5 million in savings during their tenure at JP Morgan Chase. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Ohio State University.
