Sean Johnstone

Sean Johnstone is currently the Principal Consultant for Incident Response & Readiness at Sophos, having transitioned following the company's acquisition of Secureworks. Previously, they served as Team Lead & Principal Consultant in Digital Forensics and Incident Response at Secureworks from 2021 to 2025, and held various consultant roles there from 2018 to 2019. Sean began their career as a Computing Support Officer at the University of Edinburgh, where they managed IT incidents and supported diverse computing environments. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University.
