Sid Narasimhan

Sid Narasimhan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and software quality assurance, currently serving as Senior Manager of Engineering at Sophos since March 2021. In this role, Sid leads diverse teams focused on DevOps, build systems, custom test automation, and security testing for Sophos' network security products. Prior to this, Sid held positions at Proofpoint as Software Engineering Manager, overseeing development teams for email security products, and at Sophos as Quality Manager, managing software QA teams. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Netronome Systems, Network Appliance, Marconi, and FORE Systems, with a strong background in implementing AGILE methodologies and enhancing product performance and reliability. Sid holds an MBA in Strategic Planning and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
