Bert Benton

Bert Benton is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations management across multiple industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for SOR Controls Group since August 2007, responsibilities include oversight of purchasing, materials management, production, engineering, quality assurance, and facilities. Previously, Bert Benton held the position of President & CEO at Kustom Signals, Inc. from October 2000 to June 2007, managing all company functions and full P&L accountability. Bert Benton’s earlier roles include Director of Operations at Thales, where oversight of manufacturing and logistics encompassed a global supply chain, and Plant Manager at Honeywell, supervising an avionics manufacturing facility. A foundational career began at Harris Corporation in various engineering management roles. Bert Benton earned a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1978 and 1983.
