Melvin Schmidt

Melvin Schmidt is an experienced professional in the semiconductor manufacturing industry with a robust background in process development and systems integration. Currently serving as MTS at Soraa since 2013, Melvin's responsibilities include New Product Introduction and process integration for volume manufacturing. Prior to this role, Melvin was a Manager/Principal Engineer at Bloom Energy from 2010 to 2013, focusing on process development and systems implementation. From 1996 to 2010, Melvin held the position of Engineering Manager at Maxim Integrated, overseeing a large team in a semiconductor fabrication facility. Earlier, Melvin worked as Process Development Manager at Watkins-Johnson from 1992 to 1996, specializing in advanced process development for oxide systems. Melvin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Solid State Physics from Purdue University.
