Jin Jack Tan is an accomplished professional in the field of acoustics, currently serving as Acoustics Team Lead and Research Team Lead at Sorama since June 2020, after previously holding the position of Acoustic Research Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Postdoctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology from January 2019 to June 2020, and a Lectureship in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton Malaysia, where responsibilities included module coordination for key engineering courses. Jin Jack Tan also contributed as a Guest Researcher at VÚTS, a.s. in late 2017, collaborating with PETROF on spectral analyses of piano sounds. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Acoustics from Université Paris-Saclay, alongside a Master of Engineering Science (Research) from Monash University Malaysia and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
