Gene August

Gene August began their career in 1997 as the Director Of Information Technology at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In 2000, they moved to Sorbis as the Chief Executive Officer, where they were passionate about taking the stress out of IT so clients could focus on running their businesses. Gene aimed to enable clients to grow their business, manage their risk/compliance and increase their competitive position.

Gene August attended Thomas Edison State University to study Business Administration and Management, followed by RETS, Radio Electronics Technical School to study Computer Science & Network Technology. Gene then obtained their High School Diploma in 1985 from Phoenixville Area High School. Additionally, they were certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) by Microsoft.
