Julian Chu

Julian Chu has a wealth of experience in the digital economy. Julian has worked in various roles since 2001, beginning with IBM Corporation as a Retail Industry Solutions Executive and Global Distribution Sector Leader. In 2007, they joined Demandware, Inc. as Director of Client Success, and in 2009 they were appointed Head of eCommerce for the North American division of PUMA Group. In 2012, they were selected for Internet Retailer's "Hot 100" list. In 2017, they became an Investor and Advisor for Misha Nonoo, a luxury fashion designer and brand, and an Investor and Advisor for Underscore VC, a venture capital firm. In 2019, they were appointed Head of Strategy and Growth for SOS, a smart vending machine company, and Investor and Advisor for Rezztek by SPECTER HOCKEY, a patented material for ice hockey stick blades. In 2020, they became Founder and Principal of Exceleration LLC, providing strategic advisory and consulting services to B2C and B2B companies, and Interim President and Board Advisor for Market Defense, a partner for prestige beauty and other consumer passion brands.

Julian Chu graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Government. Prior to that, they attended Shrewsbury High School.
