Grace Waringa

Grace Waringa has been working in the finance and accounting industry since 2007. Grace began their career as an Audit Assistant at Nafisa Alibhai & Co, where they were entrusted with vouching of client's books of accounts and assisting the audit seniors to carry out audit. In 2008, they joined Agility as a Chief Accountant, where they were tasked with compiling accurate financial and management accounting information on which financial and strategic managerial decisions are based. Grace also performed monthly bank reconciliations, hedging and dealing decisions, and drafted capital injection proposals and financing business cases. From 2019 to 2021, Grace Waringa worked at Arete Solutions (K) Limited as a Financial Accountant, where they were highly involved in helping clients develop customized financial plans and provide guidance on financial management matters. Grace also maintained books of account for clients using accounting software and performed research to know how to solve challenges encountered in the accounting treatment of peculiar transactions. Currently, they are employed at Sote as a Financial Accountant.

Grace Waringa attended Africa Nazarene University from 1998 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance.
