Florian Holz

Florian Holz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and digital transformation. Currently serving as a Non Executive Board Member at Public Cloud Group since July 2021, Holz has been the Managing Director and Owner of SOTEC since January 2007, focusing on IoT, retail, manufacturing, and cloud development. Additionally, Holz co-founded scitis.io GmbH in October 2016, contributing to advancements in Industrie 4.0. As a Founding Investor at HeyCharge GmbH and co-founder of X-SOR AG, Holz plays a key role in innovative product development, including humidor monitoring solutions. Previously, Holz founded Cloudwürdig GmbH in April 2018, which emerged as an independent entity dedicated to transforming legacy IT systems. Prior experience includes positions as a Product Manager at Voith Paper Automation and an IT Intern at the Automotive Industry Development Centre. Holz holds a Dipl-Ing in Automation from the University of Stuttgart, earned between 1998 and 2003.
