Adèle Bourbonne is an accomplished specialist currently serving as Deputy Director at Sotheby's since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading and curating owner sales within the Classic Design department. Adèle has extensive experience in catalogue production, including researching and authoring catalogue notes, managing logistics for exhibitions, and collaborating with various departments to enhance marketing campaigns. Prior to Sotheby's, Adèle gained valuable experience as a Curatorial Fellow at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and worked in various roles at Parsons School of Design, including teaching and assisting in research. Adèle holds a Master’s Degree in History of Design with Curatorial Studies from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor’s Degree in History of Art with Material Studies from University College London. Currently, Adèle is pursuing a certificate in Residential Interior Design at KLC School of Design.
