Alexander Klabin is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in finance and leadership. Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of Ancient since April 2020 and Chairman of Sotheby’s Financial Services since October 2020, Klabin has held significant positions at various prestigious firms. Prior experience includes Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Senator Investment Group LP from February 2008 to March 2020, Senior Vice President at York Capital Management, and an Associate at Quadrangle Group, where involvement in the Quadrangle Debt Recovery Fund and Quadrangle Capital Partners was notable. Klabin began his career as an Analyst in the M&A Department at Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2000. Klabin earned a BA in English Literature from Princeton University in 1998.
