Christine Senft

Christine Senft currently serves as Deputy Director and Specialist of Modern & Contemporary Art at Sotheby's, a role held since April 2018. Christine’s extensive experience in the art world includes positions such as Specialist and Selling Exhibition Coordinator, as well as roles in cataloguing and administrative support within the Contemporary Art department at Sotheby's, beginning as an intern. Prior experience includes an internship in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art department at Phillips, a brief tenure in fashion PR at Zoe Communications, and a position as Group Sales Executive at DoubleTree by Hilton. Christine also gained experience in special events at Christie's. Academically, Christine holds a Master's degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Hospitality Studies from École Hotelière de Lausanne, supplemented by a diploma in Art and Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Early education includes a Swiss Matura in Modern Languages from Freies Gymnasium Zürich.
