Emily Miles

Emily Miles has a robust background in the contemporary art sector, currently serving as Vice President and Deputy Head of Contemporary Day Sale at Sotheby's since February 2016. Emily has progressed through various roles at Sotheby's, including Associate Specialist focused on Post War art, Associate Cataloguer, and Executive Assistant to the Head of the Contemporary Art Department. Prior experience includes a Finance Director position at Trott for Congress, Inc., and founding Cupcakes Count. Emily's earlier career also features an editorial internship at Hour Media and an internship at LobbyIt.com. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Media Studies and History of Art from the University of Michigan.
