Lucius Elliott

Lucius Elliott has extensive experience in the art industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Contemporary Marquee Sales at Sotheby's since September 2015, with a progressive career leading to this role. Prior positions at Sotheby's include Vice President and Associate Specialist in Contemporary Art. Lucius also held editorial leadership roles at The Diplomacist and the Cornell International Affairs Review, where skills in managing publication processes and editorial structures were developed. Earlier experiences encompass a summer internship at RLM Finsbury, along with internships at Random House and Fleming Family & Partners. Educationally, Lucius holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and English Literature from Cornell University, complemented by a study abroad experience in Art History and French at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
