Mark Stephen is the Deputy Director in the Valuations department at Sotheby's, overseeing the online enquiries platform for Britain and Europe while conducting valuations for insurance and sale. Previously, they served as Associate Director at Christie's from 2004 to 2017, cataloguing sculptures, works of art, and metalwork, and achieving landmark sales including the pewter collection of David Little. Mark also held the position of specialist at Sotheby's from 1985 to 2000. They are currently studying Modern History, including the History of Art, at the University of St. Andrews while attending Sherborne School.
