Marcelo Ribeiro

Marcelo Ribeiro has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Marcelo began their career at ABB as a Commercial Contract Manager in 1997. Marcelo then moved on to Siemens, where they held the position of Sales and Commercial Contract Director from 2000 to 2007. Following this, Marcelo joined a Private Equity firm as the Managing Director of Steel & Metals for one year. In 2008, they joined Sotreq S/A as the Sales and Commercial Director and later became the Business Unit Director. Marcelo currently holds the position of Diretor Executivo at the same company.

Marcelo Ribeiro has a diverse education history. In 1990 to 1996, they attended Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. Marcelo furthered their education at Ibmec in 1997 to 1998, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2011, Marcelo completed the Alumni - GMP General Management Program at Harvard Business School, with a focus on Leadership. Marcelo later attended the Harvard Business School again in 2017, this time completing the Advanced Management Program in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, Marcelo has also participated in an Executive Program at Stanford University, specializing in growing companies.
