Sound Express started as a wedding DJ service, our business has since become a one stop agency that provides all types of entertainment for any occasion, we also specialise in wedding entertainment for any nationality as we believe that culture should be an integral part of the music & entertainment at every wedding. 

Founded in 2011 by Jean-Paul Markarian, a master Audio/Visual Technician and DJ. Jean-Paul laid all the fundamental building blocks and established a business built on transparency and quality service. 

In 2019 Gary Derderyan joined the team as a partner. Coming from a National Sales Managers background in various industries, he has since assisted Jean-Paul in rocketing the business and becoming one of Australia’s leading & innovative event entertainment companies with arguably one of the largest databases of entertainment nationwide.  

The core of our business has been providing entertainment of any kind with a can do attitude. Our business has quickly evolved into an innovative powerhouse of event entertainment, AV hire, AV installation, venue support & management.
