Dan Bennett

Dan Bennett has extensive experience in environmental compliance and planning, currently serving as a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist and Senior Environmental Planner at Sound Transit since October 2016. In this role, Dan oversees construction projects to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and permit requirements, including stormwater and wastewater discharge permits, sensitive areas permits, and construction best management practices. Prior to Sound Transit, Dan worked as an Environmental Scientist at Herrera Environmental Consultants from June 2000 to October 2016, and held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from June 1996 to July 2000, and as a Consulting Forester at Mason, Bruce & Girard, Inc. from June 1992 to June 1996. Dan holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
