Mark Murray

Mark Murray is a seasoned fire protection engineer with extensive experience in building code consulting and fire safety management. Currently serving as Principal Fire Protection Engineer at Sound Transit since July 2020, Mark previously held key roles, including Principal at Code Unlimited and Assistant Director of Building and Fire Safety at the University of Washington for nearly three decades. Additional experience includes time as an Associate at Flack and Kurtz and a Consultant at Factory Mutual Engineering, focusing on fire protection engineering and risk assessment. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, complemented by further education at the University of Washington.
