Evgeniy Belyaev is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing data processing systems. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at SoundCloud since July 2025, Evgeniy focuses on enhancing data processing efficiency through advanced ELT streaming pipelines utilizing Google Cloud technologies. Prior to this, Evgeniy held the position of Staff Data Engineer at Pentaleap and contributed to the growth of an independent project originally developed within Crealytics. With a strong foundation in data engineering from Crealytics, Evgeniy played a pivotal role in optimizing Apache Spark pipelines and contributing to a company-wide data platform initiative. Previous roles also include backend development in various programming languages, leading development teams, and modernizing tech stacks across different organizations.
