Michael Steinkohl

Michael Steinkohl is a seasoned professional in music licensing, currently serving as Senior Manager of Music Licensing at SoundCloud since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Octave Group as Associate Director of Licensing and held various positions at ABKCO Music & Records, Inc., including Manager of Digital and Domestic Licensing. Michael's career began with roles in licensing and management at BMG, Sony Music Entertainment, and various internships in artist management and sponsorship production. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Arts Management from Indiana University Bloomington in 2012.
