Raphael Cohen

Raphael Cohen is a Senior Software Engineer at SoundHound since January 2021, bringing extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Prior to SoundHound, Raphael served as a Software Engineering Team Lead at Thales from June 2017 to December 2020, focusing on the design and development of frameworks and core software components using C++, CMake, and Python. Raphael also held the position of Embedded Software Engineer, specializing in image processing algorithms on parallel computing platforms with real-time constraints, utilizing C++, MATLAB, and Python within an Agile environment. Raphael pursued doctoral studies at Université Paris 13 from 2014 to 2017 and holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur from Centrale Lyon (2010-2014) along with a Master 2 from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (September 2013 - September 2014).
