Tom Normile

Tom Normile has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Tom is currently the Head of Engineering, Conversational AI at SoundHound. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CTO of a company in stealth mode, where they built a machine learning platform for discovering customer pain points. Tom also worked at Amazon as the Head of Engineering for Alexa Shopping and at eBay as a Senior Director of Engineering & Product Management, Senior Director of Customer Experiences, Senior Director of Verification, Trust and Safety, Director of Engineering Feedback Systems, and Director of International Expansion. Before that, they were the VP of Engineering and Operations at Navisite and a Sr. Engineering Manager at SGI. Tom Normile began their career at Apple Computer as an Engineering Manager & Technical Lead and at HP as a Senior Engineer.

Tom Normile holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Limerick. Tom also pursued Aeronautical Engineering at Technological University Dublin.
