Cortney Marchetti

Cortney Marchetti has extensive work experience in HR and talent management. Cortney started their career as a Legal Intern at NetApp and later worked as an Associate at Strazulo Fitzgerald, LLP, specializing in litigation. Cortney then joined Jackson Lewis LLP as a Senior Associate, providing strategic advice and counsel to clients on employment law issues.

In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Director of Human Resources and Employee Engagement at Shutterfly Inc., where they led HR and employee engagement efforts for over 700 employees. Cortney also managed the company's facilities and led the employee engagement team.

After leaving Shutterfly, Cortney joined Lyft as Director of People Operations - Business, where they led the People Business Partner team for non-Tech functions and implemented scalable and sustainable business practices. Cortney then worked as a Principal at Ampersand Consulting, LLC, designing and implementing people programs for new and growing companies.

In 2017, Cortney took on the role of Leadership Coach at Sounding Board, Inc., bringing executive coaching to leaders at all levels. Currently, they serve as the Director of Talent Management at OverDrive, Inc., where they lead recruitment, engagement, learning & development, DE&I, and performance management functions, with a focus on creating a progressive and engaging company culture.

Cortney Marchetti earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a writing emphasis from Loyola Marymount University in 2002. Cortney then attended Notre Dame Law School from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to their university education, Cortney Marchetti completed their high school education at Loretto High School from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci and in Everything DiSC from Wiley.
