Ian Newell is a Senior Legal Counsel and Company Secretary with extensive experience in corporate governance, commercial and corporate law, and financial management. Ian has held significant roles in various sectors, including mining, construction, and legal practice, partnering with major organizations such as BHP Billiton, Peabody Energy, and Rio Tinto. Ian has a proven track record in advising boards and executive committees on complex business issues and has previously served as an Executive Manager and Financial Controller. Currently, Ian is pursuing multiple degrees at the University of Newcastle, Macquarie University, and other institutions, further enhancing their expertise in management and law.
