Andrea Stone has extensive experience in the tax and research & development (R&D) industries. Andrea currently works as a Tax Guru at GOAT.tax since May 2021. Prior to this, Andrea held the position of R&D Client Services Director at Source Advisors starting in July 2020. From December 2016 to May 2020, they were a Principal and National Technical Director at Tax Point Advisors, where they held the position of National Technical Director from November 2015 to May 2020. Before that, Andrea worked as an R&D Tax Credit Senior Manager and Manager at Black Line Group from October 2014 to November 2015 and from May 2011 to October 2015, respectively. Andrea also has experience as a Senior Tax Consultant in the Research & Development Tax Services Group at Deloitte from March 2010 to July 2011. Andrea began their career as a Senior Research and Development Tax Consultant at Black Line Group in May 2006, where they stayed until April 2010.
Andrea Stone attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Business Administration. Andrea also pursued a double major in Business and Biology at the same university, although the specific years of study for this major are unknown.
