Joris van der Els

Joris van der Els has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joris currently serves as the COO at Source.ag since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at bloomon, a B2C e-commerce platform specializing in flower products. At bloomon, they held multiple roles including Chief Operating and Sustainability Officer, COO, and Global Head of Flower Product from 2017 to 2021. Joris was responsible for overseeing the design, sourcing, procurement, and quality control of the bouquets. Before joining bloomon, Joris worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader from 2011 to 2017. Joris also had brief stints at Alliander as a Consultant/Project Manager and at Lean B.V. as a Software Engineer. Joris began their career at Ebbinge & Company, where they served as a Student Recruiter.

Joris van der Els pursued their education in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Control Systems at Eindhoven University of Technology. Joris successfully completed their MSc degree with Cum Laude honors. Their academic journey lasted from 2004 to 2011.
