Ross Gillard

Vice President of Products at Source Elements

Ross Gillard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they started working at Grayson Matthews, where they held multiple positions, including Mix Engineer & Sound Designer, Studio Manager, Technical Director, and Managing Director - Experiential Content. Ross also worked as a Media Manager there. In 2016, Gillard worked as the Audio Director for SESQUI 2017, contributing to the creation of the film HORIZON. Ross was also involved in the production of the album "Saturday Night" by Tim Darcy, serving as the Album Producer/Mixer. Additionally, Gillard worked on the Wayhome Music Festival Concert Film in 2016 as a Composer/Sound Designer. Ross was an Audio Mixer for the documentary feature "Spotless" and composed the score for the crime thriller film "Population Zero" in 2014. From 2017 to 2020, Gillard worked at HEAR360 as a Production Specialist and Business Development professional. Ross then joined Sessionwire in 2020 as part of the Business Development team. Currently, Gillard holds the position of Vice President of Products at Source Elements starting in 2023.

Ross Gillard attended the International Academy of Design and Technology - Toronto from 2005 to 2007. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Sound Technology with a focus on Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians. In addition to their formal education, Ross has obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2022. Furthermore, they are a Composer member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 149, although the specific dates of when they obtained this certification are unknown.
