Roger Owens

Roger Owens began their career in 1984 as the Director of Engineering at Datasouth Computer Corp. Roger was also the Product Manager and Project Manager, managing printer product and travel automation product lines, as well as printer development design projects. In 2003, they joined Source Technologies LLC. as the Engineering Manager of MICR Products. Roger was responsible for managing the design, development, and qualification of MICR check related products, as well as developing embedded real time software and related control systems for thermal printer mechanism control. This included thermal printer embedded firmware/control systems, desktop MICR printers, and check scanner and embedded firmware.

Roger Owens attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1979 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
