Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors.

For over 35 years, Smith has worked in the nonprofit sector developing and implementing service models that promote the employment and support of people with disabilities. Smith started her career as a direct service professional with WORK Inc.’s residential department helping people transition out of state institutions to community group homes. Currently, she is the Chief Operating Officer at the organization.

Smith is presently working on a statewide service delivery workgroup charged with producing and updating the blueprint that creates post-pandemic service models to include virtual services and remote support. In addition, Smith serves on the Finance Committee working to align reimbursement rates and structure within the new service models.

Smith received her MSW and MBA from Boston University.
